In Your Neighborhood

RMR Services, LLC has a staff of devoted field technicians working hard throughout Minnesota and its neighboring states to assist your utility provider on a variety of projects. Below you will find information to answer some of the questions you may have when you see us working in your area.

How do I know that RMR Services is working in my neighborhood?

Our People
RMR Services field technicians are hard at work in communities of all sizes throughout Minnesota and its bordering states helping gas, water, and electric utilities provide continuous, uninterrupted service to their customers.

Although our field technicians may be doing any number of jobs or tasks when you see them, they will always be recognizable wearing a high-visibility safety vest and carrying a company-issued photo identification badge. RMR Services safety vests will be emblazoned with the phrases "Utility Contractor" or "Meter Reader" depending on the technician's role. (See photos below. Occasionally, a utility will require, per our contract, that RMR Services technicians wear vests or uniforms displaying logos and branding associated with the utility and not RMR Services. In this situation, our technicians will wear a safety vest or uniform shirt and photo identification badge displaying the name and/or logo of the utility provider authorizing the work.

Our Vehicles
RMR Services operates a fleet of service vehicles. The vehicles we deploy vary in make and model, but each fleet vehicle is marked with vinyl decals displaying the RMR Services logo and phrase "Authorized Utility Contractor" on the front driver and passenger side doors. Some RMR Services technicians drive personal vehicles. These personal vehicles may be any make, model, or color, but will always be marked with a set of vehicle magnets displaying the RMR Services logo and phrase "Authorized Utility Contractor" or "Authorized Meter Reading Contractor" depending on the technician's role. What are we doing?
The short answer to that question is we are working with your utility provider to offer a service essential to their overall operation. RMR Services technicians may be reading or inspecting your utility meter, or performing a routine maintenance task to ensure your utility service and equipment continue to operate in an efficient and safe manner. Most of the work we do does not take long to complete, so we will be out of your way shortly.
