The goal of RMR Services, LLC is to be the best utility contractor in the upper Midwest. We will achieve this goal by providing reliable service to meet the diverse needs of our customers while providing a safe and supportive work environment to our employees.
About RMR Services
RMR Services, LLC was founded in 1990 as a company specializing in utility meter reading services, including manual meter reading and the installation and service of automatic meter reading (AMR) devices. In fact, RMR Services became the first utility contractor in the United States to work with AMR technology when we partnered with CenterPoint Energy in 1990 to begin installation of AMR devices on their natural gas meters.
In the decades that have followed, RMR Services has continued to expand and adapt so that we may consistently serve the diverse needs of our partnering utilities in an industry that sees frequent procedural and technological advancements.
In 2022, RMR Services continues to provide manual meter reading services, water and natural gas meter installation and service (including installation and service of AMR technology), field credit collection and disconnect services, atmospheric corrosion inspections (ACIs) on inside and outside natural gas meters, and the industry experience and understanding that allows us to tackle specialized projects both large and small to support the new and evolving needs of our partnering utilities.
